Holiday decorating is such good fun – and it is even more enjoyable if you make something yourself. Holiday crafts do not have to be expensive or time-consuming. The Hill-Stead Museum is a revival Colonial house and art museum with beautiful grounds. Take this chance to enjoy the lovely location while you:

• Stroll the wooded trails and open meadows.
• Collect foliage and berries for your wreath.
• Get helpful tips from event volunteers.

Be sure to wear gloves and outdoor clothing, with comfortable shoes. You will need to bring your own garden clippers. This event costs $15 for members and $20 for non-members and takes place on 8 November. You can choose from 11 AM and 1 PM time slots.
