Burst Pipe and Floor Repair
These photos show a burst pipe – however this may be due to a pressure build up in the line rather than elemental cause. When the pressure builds up and then has nowhere to go it is going to seek a weakness in the material and then exploit it. The source impacted the home, it seeped into the flooring itself and required full disposal and removal in order to address and mitigate the loss properly. Additionally, the floor took the brunt of the damages causing for only trim and flooring/subflooring to require replacement. It appears the property owner had the similar or like flooring, therefore we could replace and the whole floor didn’t require full replacement. The burst pipe seeps from wall, to floor, again as it is downward seepage, causing pooling. This can lead to either substantial damages or contained areas, fortunately, this was contained because of the cabinetry.
