Water Damage Including Sewage Gets Careful Handling In Simsbury Home

A toilet on the floor above overflowed in this Simsbury home resulting in a large amount of water damage when the water ran under the tile and  came through the ceiling and walls below. Any building materials that absorb this type of water require disposal as a category three biohazard. The techs removed the damaged portion of the sheetrock and opened the loss area of the ceiling and walls for drying as seen in the After Photo. Techs extracted the water above until dry passes resulted and set up the area for drying both above and below to bring down the interior humidity levels on both floors as rapidly as possible.
