Commercial Sewer Drain Clog

This loss is evidence of a sewer drain clog or back up, in a commercial property. When the backup occurred, it can be either an on or off premises occurrence, and often is a very extensive and hard event to prevent – especially for commercial property owner.  This type of water is classified as Category 3, which means that the materials affected are not salvageable, or clean and contains contaminants that are harmful and require proper remediation steps.  These photos show the steps and bacterial growth that transpired during the loss.  The carpet and underlayment had to be removed and disposed of from the growth and potential biological implications.  The photo on the left shows the actual waste growth and the right shows the LGR dehumidifier and axial fan used to help mitigate and moisture in the space.
